We care about our environment

We are aware that we are stewards of the Earth and the greatest gift we can give our little ones is a beautiful environment. Each design and product has been created with the lens of prolonging the product lifecycle and decreasing waste. In a world of fast fashion, we want to be a brand that challenges the idea of clothes being a ‘just for now’ product.

Responsibly sourced

We only obtain materials and work with manufacturers who have obtained certificates and abide to ethical working conditions for their workers.

We also mainly work with cotton and organic materials. However, where inorganic materials are used, we ensure it’s need in the garment is justified and where possible, is recycled.

Quality and Pass on-ability

We prioritise quality and use the best materials and printing methods. This ensures your product will last longer when wash care instructions are followed, and means it can easily be passed once outgrown, to be loved by another little one.

We avoid labelling our ranges under the season and year e.g SS24 and name them chapters instead, staying true to the timeless nature of African Ankara fabric prints. But of course, season appropriate items will be available - and you may see some classic favourites regularly return!

We are intentional about not gendering the clothes so they can be passed on between siblings or other little loved ones. We are also fostering relationships with charities and swap shop initiatives to work on a buy back scheme - so watch this space!
